Review #332: Lil' Wayne "No Ceilings"

Reviewed on 10.28.2009 (Review #332)

It’s FrankieThaLuckyDog again, and not sure if this a good thing or bad thing, but I’m reviewin’ a new Lil’ Wayne mixtape. Yea, I’m embarassed, but I’m gonna get it over wit! Here goes my “brave” review for Lil’ Wayne No Ceilings. Start Time: 11:59 PM | End Time: 1:01 AM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me or have auto-tune in your vocals, I’m not buyin’ it!

© 2009 CD Review (Review #332) reviewed on 10.28.2009 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “Swag Surfin’”
Well, let’s see what you did on this beat… >>> You sound pretty good on this beat. Kinda random here… I can’t picture how people can bump this though… Why iz this a whole verse? It ain’t even broken up into a hook or nothin’? That’s a deduction for this length! I thought this would be like Da Drought 3 or somethin’… Tha rhymes are pretty good (I like tha “I leave her Microsoft like Windows Vista” or whateva it was line), but it was too long of a verse. My Rating: 3.7

02. “Ice Cream Paint Job”
LOL @ this beat choice… >>> By now, you’re just borin’ fa me… There’s like no excitin’ catch in your rappin’ anymore… At least you’re not rappin’ on Auto-Tune here, but tha rappin’ iz good here! Now, it doesn’t have ta do wit tha title, but it’s whateva. LOL @ 1:33; I smiled! You said, “pistol on my hip, Tomb Raider!” You KNOW I luv Tomb Raider; what up, Lara Croft!? I felt this one better than tha last one, especially since this was shorter. I felt your flow better, although tha rhymes were pretty much equal to tha last one. My Rating: 3.8

03. “D.O.A.”
I hope you REALLY cause “D. [on Your] A.” ‘cause it ruined you!! >>> I can feel tha rhymes comin’ through harder on this one than tha last 2 songs. Glad you “drink verses and eat hooks!” LOL @ tha “spit hangin’ from my mouth, retard flow” and tha “I say what I want like an award show;” this iz DEFINITELY betta right here! Tha rhymes are DEFINITELY great in tha 2nd verse, so this iz DEFINITELY a plus! I must say that tha 3rd verse iz not that bad for what it iz… I did like tha “2 women praise me like Mary Mary” part though. My Rating: 4.4

04. Interlude
This could be good… I wanna know what you got ta say! >>> You KNOW I luv tha soundin’ of tha lightin’ up tha blunt, ya dig! Nice lil’ interlude right here, and thanx for it! My Rating: N/A

05. “Wasted”
LOL, let’s see what you did on this beat… >>> I hear you lightin’ up dat blunt in tha beginning, so that’s a plus! You sound a lil’ kiddie on tha vocals at times here, so I don’t know ‘bout dat… Still comin’ through wit tha interestin’ rhymes here, more on tha explicit female tip! Nice “hot head/global warming” part; that was tight. It’s soundin’ good at about 2:40 wit tha “Energizer bunny” part wit tha way you sound. LOL @ you “always good like grandma cookies!” Pretty good here, I must say. My Rating: 4.0

06. “Watch My Shoes”
This beat this time? Let’s see what happens… >>> Finally, a Louisiana beat, lol! Tha rhymes are okay for a start. It’s still on your level, although it’s just good; that’s all. From 1:20 on, it’s gettin’ boring. “Had ta pause for a minute?” Should’ve ended this freestyle! Every like 30 seconds, my rating just keeps droppin’ lil’ by lil’ ‘cause of tha non-stop/non-catchy rappin’ here! My Rating: 2.6

07. “Break Up” Feat. Short Dawg & Gudda Gudda
LOL, you were tha START of why this beat was like this, lol! I wonder what err-body gon sound like on here… >>> Your flow sounds betta on this one. You did an okay job on your verse… Wow, I’m finally reviewin’ a Short Dawg verse afta I’ve known him fa 4 years, lol!! I think he got drenched inta tha whole Cash Money/Young Money thing… His voice iz still a lil’ cool, although I kinda lost interest fa those non-Louisiana mainstream people. Let’s see dis Gudda Gudda dude on tha 3rd part… He’s soundin’ decent; just okay here. My Rating: 3.4

08. “Banned From TV”
I dunno this title… What’s goin’ on here? >>> I don’t tha beat, but I guess you chose a better beat this time. You’re back to tha faster flow here, and it’s soundin’ pretty good. So far, it’s soundin’ good, although it may get borin’ after a while… It’s soundin’ a lil’ betta durin’ tha 2:00 mark area. And just like me on my college’s news, “I’m a teleprompter;” that’s what I do currently! My Rating: 3.6

½time: An okay start… You’re still comin’ through pretty good wit tha rhymes and flow, although sometimes, you know I get bored from you. Tha beats are pretty good that you chose, although sometimes I feel that they’re performed on decently. Tha average CD rating stands at a 3.6 right now.

09. “Throw It In The Bag (Remix)”
LOL @ this “remix;” how will you do on it? >>> Oh, a different beat… I rather’ve heard tha original beat. Glad you’re “swimmin’ in polo, sleepin’ in Jordan’s;” thumbs up! Nice job on tha 1st verse, although this hook (for this remix) iz weird wit tha sample; ewe… I have nothin’ really ta say about tha 2nd verse; nothin’ ta quote. Hopefully, there’s no 3rd verse; time’s runnin’ out! My Rating: 2.9

10. “I Think I Love Her” Feat. Tyga & Shanell
This looks like a new song? Regardless, I’m not really havin’ tha anticipation fa it. >>> Whateva tha beat iz, I don’t know it. Sounds like Tyga on tha 1st verse, comin’ through hard on this slow flow here. I always stereotype him as a Pop rapper wit tha whole “Coconut Juice” song from last year. Soundin’ gr8 wit tha whole “vitality” part, and got betta at 1:16 wit tha fastness!! Nice job wit tha 1st verse, includin’ tha pace change! Now, you’re on tha 2nd verse, comin’ through wit a slow flow like Tyga at 1st. You’re switchin’ up your voice a lil’ bit at around 2:08 wit tha “I’m tha shit” type of voice. There’s nothin’ bad about this whole song so far. Nice job… Oh, a female on tha 3rd verse… Good thing she rappin’ ‘cause she’s at least not borin’! LOL @ tha “hol’ up, here’s a napkin” part! My Rating: 3.8

11. Interlude #2 Feat. Shanell
LOL, a feature on tha interlude! I guess this one’ll be okay, or about fuckin’? >>> Gotta light tha blunt in tha beginning! Everything iz aight here as far as this review. Thanx for what you mean by No Ceilings as tha title (wit tha “sky’s tha limit” thing). My Rating: N/A

12. “Wetter”
L-O-L! >>> Gotta light tha blunt in tha beginning on this one too, lol. Tha beginning iz tha same as tha original song; let’s see when you come in… It was before :40; that was quick, lol. Tha verse iz soundin’ okay; tha lyrics are gr8 for tha females though. Tha flow iz nice and real, real slow fa this too! No repeatin’ tha hook, lol? You just want tha whole song I assume, lol. Now, you made tha hook come in at 2:44 again. Tha hook iz just about a minute long… My Rating: 3.9

13. “I’m Good” Feat. T-Streets
New beat? I don’t know tha featured artist; let’s see here… >>> Sounds like it off to a New York type of start. Your 1st verse iz startin’ off Baseball style, lol. Tha flow iz interestin’ here; sounds like you REALLY inta “gettin’ head” and all kinds of otha shit, lol! Pretty good on tha 1st verse, and tha hook iz pretty catchy wit tha title repeatin’. Ooh, iz dat T-Streets on tha 2nd verse? REALLY feelin’ how he’s spittin’! I like how he’s “got da pillz” and all dat good shit fa tha streetz! Too bad it was only 2 verses, but I was feelin’ this one right here! My Rating: 4.1

14. “Poke Her Face” Feat. Jae Millz
OMG… LOL!! >>> You’re GaGa’d out here, lol! You’re imitatin’ tha Kid Cudi flow on tha 1st verse here, and this song always sounded like it could cheer you up wit tha flow and tha whole Lady GaGa Acoustic sample of “Poker Face,” lol. You did a good job, but do I have ta say anything about Jae on tha 2nd verse? I feel like he’s SO Cash Money brainwashed wit what he spits; NO LONGER any tightness! My Rating: 3.6

15. “Run This Town”
Anotha LOL; you LUV your beats!! >>> LOL @ this song goin’ Pop and even bein’ on an Adult Contemp/Disco station! Now, you’re comin’ through tough on tha 1st verse here, “runnin’ this fuckin’ track like a street car,” ya dig! Good job wit tha rappin’ on this one, so you get a plus fa feelin’ your idol, Jay-Z, when it comes to tha beats. I didn’t realize how short this was cut down to, so it’s just one verse. You did a good job on this shit, so your rhymes were DEFINITELY consistent here! My Rating: 4.0

16. “I Gotta Feeling”
LOL, Wayne, you’re on your faster shit right now, lol! >>> Lemme ask you, Wayne: You know tha producer on this song? I do (David Guetta); did you know dat? LOL @ you rappin’ on 128 BPM right here! It’s just okay rappin’ here, as it just regularly fits wit a Dance-type track here. You even squeezed a 2nd verse here… Now, you got tha right flow here, and it’s soundin’ good here wit this beat! Nice job wit tha 2nd verse; gr8 ending song fa this mixtape! My Rating: 3.7

17. Outro
Let’s see how you gon end this… >>> Of course, tha blunt! LOL, speakin’ of David Guetta, there’s a “Sexy Bitch” beat in tha background, lol! As I previously said, “LOL @ you rappin’ on 128 BPM right here!” Now, it’s, “LOL @ you talkin’ on 130 BPM right here!” It was just an okay outro… I seemed like I focused more on tha beat, lol. My Rating: N/A

Overall: Well, it was more interestin’ than embarassin’ this time. REAL GLAD you “D.O.A.’d” for this CD ‘cause tha Auto-Tune wasn’t called for at all wit your style!! I don’t know what else ta say, but ta keep doin’ it big at 27!

Rankings (according to my ratings):

Review #331: Wochee "The Chee-Mixes (Hosted by Bay Bay Da Ambassador)"

Reviewed on 10.28.2009 (Review #331)

Wat up? Ya boy FrankieThaLuckyDog ‘bout ta do anotha review, ya dig! Let’s see what happens when I review Wochee’s mixtape from last year, The Chee-Mixes. I don’t know exactly what ta expect… Maybe Louisiana vs. mainstream? I don’t know, but here goes my review fa Wochee The Chee-Mixes (Hosted by Bay Bay Da Ambassador)! Start Time: 9:50 PM | End Time: 1:17 PM

01. Intro (Bay Bay Da Ambassador)
Props ta DJ Chill fa mixin’ this shit; I’m sure he’ll do a REAL good job, ya dig! Although just a start, let’s see what Bay Bay has ta say… >>> Tha intro sounds like it’s real great/anticipatin’. I know there’s a sample in tha background, so you know that it’s familiar! My Rating: N/A

02. “Intro”
LOL; I guess this iz an “intro track,” lol? Let’s see… >>> Sounds like a movie intro, and before tha :12 mark, it sounded like it was gonna turn into a beat. You sound decent for a start here wit this beat. Actually, you’re soundin’ great wit these rhymes; nearly a Lil’ Wayne flow here. I’m REALLY likin’ tha rhymes here, as they just DON’T stop!! Tha beat could’ve been a lil’ betta, but I think it serves good fa what you’re spittin’! REAL NICE job here!!! My Rating: 4.5

03. “Fantasy”
I’m playin’ Final “Fantasy” III right now, lol. Let’s see your “fantasy,” lol, although I don’t know how anticipated I am… >>> Yea, this iz a lil’ odd for a start… Almost reminds me of 50 Cent songs; yuck. Although I don’t like tha beat, you’re rappin’ good. Not much on a tight level, but it’s more on a real level. Nice job on tha 1st verse, although tha hook iz kinda dry wit dat sample. I might have ta just base this off a lyrical rating ‘cause it’s not a song for me. Tha 2nd verse had you goin’ off still! Lyrical Rating: 4.6 | My Rating: 3.2

04. “Sexy Can I”
Oh, this song? At least it ain’t ’07, so I can prolly deal wit it a lil’… >>> I like tha blendin’ in tha beginning. Dub-T-F @ tha Auto-Tune in tha beginning… Could’ve kept tha original hook instead of a slight change. Not really feelin’ how you sound on this, but tha lyrics are good. LOL @ tha “receipt/matress” part. Kinda long of a verse for only one verse… My Rating: 2.9

05. “Too Fly”
Looks like anotha jacked beat song? Lemme find out, since my anticipation iz kinda low at tha moment… >>> Mr. A Bay Bay doin’ tha hostin’ on this CD, lol. Soundin’ good fa hostin’ this. Tha beat iz on tha slow side, soundin’ better. I hear a (like) Pimp C sample or someone else in tha hook; sounded pretty good. You’re soundin’ betta on here on tha 1st verse wit tha way you sound. Not bad on tha 1st verse… Oh, that was it? Too short ta make my rating grow. My Rating: 3.7

06. “No Surprise” Feat. Bigg D & Alley Cat
I’m assumin’ it’s an original song since it’s 4:41 and there’s 2 features on it… How will it sound? I don’t know what ta say about anything as far as anticipation… >>> It doesn’t exactly sound original in tha beat, but I don’t think I know it, so I’ll give it a plus. Tha hook iz pretty catchy in tha beginning, so I’m likin’ this. It’s “no surprise” you got haterz. Well, just as I was ‘bout ta feel tha song, you pulled off some Auto-Tune bullshit in tha beginning of tha 1st verse! YUCK!! I’m sure tha featured artists’ll own you on this song! Somewhat bad 1st verse, although it wasn’t tha worst. Tha start to tha 2nd verse ALREADY beat tha 1st verse wit tha relaxin’ wit tha “spliff” part; EASILY beatin’ tha Auto-Tune!! Tha verse was ½ Bigg D, ½ Alley Cat ‘cause it’s different on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse… Gotta luv people in tha hood! People got tha great voices, so I’m givin’ Alley props on tha 2nd ½ of tha 2nd verse! Although he sounds REAL gr8 on tha flow, I think I liked Bigg D’s part on tha 1st ½ of tha 2nd verse betta. Tha 3rd verse must be you, soundin’ decent/good here. Of course, I liked tha whole 2nd verse betta… My Rating: 3.9

07. “Real Shyt”
>>> No… a female vocal sample in tha background; HATE when people do this wit tha beats!! Tha 1st verse iz okay, but one thing that’s annoyin’ about tha beat also iz it sounds like (afta like 2 seconds from each time tha sample comes on), it sounds like I got a text message, so it’s distractin’! This must be a whole verse? I guess you sound gr8 wit your rappin’, but it can be boring easily on this beat and shit. LOL @ tha “if tha shoe fits, then put tha muthafucka on!” I liked dat line; I don’t need ta say anymore about this song! I gave a lyrical rating, although my rating iz a lil’ high ‘cause of tha gr8 lyrics. Lyrical Rating: 4.5 | My Rating: 3.6

08. “A Milli”
Iz it possible dat… I CAN SKIP?!? >>> Glad you had your own intro instead of dat stupid first few 5 seconds of this beat’s intro! Catchy intro, and it’s soundin’ like you’re deliverin’ tightness here on tha mic. I would criticize this beat (although I’m real puked by it), but it’s an ’08 CD, so it doesn’t get criticized ‘cause this beat STAYS in ’08 ONLY! LOL @ “this for spicks;” WHOA!! Tha 2nd verse iz soundin’ nice too wit all tha crazy rappin’/rhymin’!! LOL @ tha “you can suck my N-U-T’s;” GR8 job wit tha spellin’, as it was raw how you spit this shit!! LOL @ tha “boo hoo” part towards tha near-end! My Rating: 4.7

09. “My Buddy”
Let’s see what happens here… >>> Ugh… I think this iz just as bad as “A Milli,” as it’s “My Dougie” on tha beat. What’s up wit tha talkin’ in tha beginning? I feel like tha hook iz a lil’ on tha childish tip; how ‘bout “My Nigga” as tha title? Oh wait, neva mind, it’s for a female. Then, how ‘bout “My Bitch” as tha title? Not really inta tha 1st vesre… Oh God, this iz fuckin’ 4:29? I’m not gonna be able ta handle this! I guess it’s a lil’ more interestin’ in tha 2nd verse… You got a catchy flow this time! Anotha verse… At least it was real short. I guess you just have a long outro here… Good outro, so I’ll give it a plus. My Rating: 2.7

10. “Holla Back” Feat. Boss Soulja
Gwen Stefani “Hollaback Girl” beat? LOL, I’m just playin’! But, wit tha “A Milli” and stupid “Dougie” beats, I almost feel dat you would hop on tha Gwen Stefani beat! >>> I knew this was gonna be betta for a song for tha start. Tha beat sounds on tha original tip, although I don’t know about all tha snappin’ in tha beginning… Soundin’ calm on tha hook, although it sounds catchy. Back to tha Lil’ Wayne flow on tha 1st verse; once again, catchy verse. LOL @ tha “I can be an asshole” part! I feel dat wheneva a rapper says “asshole,” it sounds funny; I guess ‘cause it’s rare… Let’s see what we got fa da Boss Soulja on tha 2nd verse… Soundin’ good on his verse. I ratha hear him on tracks ‘cause I like how he sounds. Prolly could’ve had anotha verse, but whateva… My Rating: 4.0

Overall: It seems mixed for a start… Very much on a roller coaster wit all that’s goin’ on… Some bad beat choices, but then again, REAL good rhymes, gr8 features, and some decent songs makes tha average CD rating a 3.7 currently.

11. “La Bon Vie” Feat. Alley Cat
What language we got here? >>> Da Bay Bay in tha beginning, still soundin’ good wit tha hostin’… Oh, I thought it would be weird on tha beat, but it’s “Dey Know.” Tha 1st verse sounds nearly like Kevin Gates wit tha Jamaican style. I almost thought dat was Auto-Tune, but it’s luckily a Jamaican voice from you. It’s an okay 1st verse as for what it iz. Why iz tha verse so damn long? I waited fa it ta end, and now, we got Alley Cat up next, soundin’ betta wit tha voice! Nice “T-Mobile” line wit tha “I flip ‘em like my sidekick” part! Nice endin’ to tha song wit tha “Louisiana” part! Of course, Alley Cat did his thang on this, although you could’ve done better, or at least split tha verses! My Rating: 3.5

12. “Cheemix”
It’s 4:15, so let’s see what this whole “mix” gon have… >>> Startin’ off wit an “Umma Do Me” beat. Your voice sounds good here, as well as your flow. LOL @ your “suck my private” part; you go off on some of these tracks! Tha hook iz basically a twist of tha “Umma Do Me” original one, only at least it’s for you wit tha “Umma do Chee” shit. Tha 2nd verse sounds like it’s still keepin’ it together like tha 1st verse. Still feelin’ tha flow, and your rhymes are DEFINITELY catchy here! Sounds like you ahead of buku people on tha 3rd verse, havin’ fun wit this beat, lol! Nice job wit tha whole thing here; catchy shit! My Rating: 4.3

13. “Lovin’ A Thug” (Raskal Feat. Gangsta & Wochee)
This title can be good fa what it iz… I’m assumin’ it’s Raskal’s song, so let’s see how this collaboration went! Oh, and I hope tha Gangsta dude on here iz who I think it iz (although I’m not sure if I’ll be able ta tell)… >>> Ewe… “Love In This Club” beat? I thought it would be an original beat fa a second. I almost thought dat was Lil’ Ganggsta from Thibadoux on tha intro, but I think he too good fa this! No wonder why this iz labeled as a feature; it sux! Horrible singin’ Auto-Tune 1st verse, but I won’t comment it! There’s an “h” missin’ in “thug” on tha back cover (right or wrong ‘cause it looks wrong, but you say, “tug,” in tha song), smh. TERRIBLE 1st verse as tha Auto-Tune sadly goes through my ears like chalkboard nails! Tha 2nd verse was just aight… We got Gangsta on tha 3rd verse, and I’m not even gonna think he’s tha Gangsta I know from Baton Rouge, although he had tha best verse. How old iz tha Raskal dude, 14? Tha Auto-Tune decreases his age significantly! You’re on tha 4th verse, and it’s better than tha 2nd verse… You gotta be like a homo ta play this Auto-Tune shit, so you KNOW tha rating iz at least 1.9 or lower! My Rating: 1.1

14. “Here I Go”
Keepin’ these lengths long (my gurl Alexia b-day on tha length, 4:16), but I don’t think I’ll feel what’s goin’ on here ‘cause my anticipation iz like a dry desert now that I heard tha last song! >>> Okay, at least tha beat iz a lil’ betta this time. I believe Mystikal used this in 2004 on a Chopped & Screwed CD? I rememba hearin’ it on Music Choice Rap for a while… Oh wait, I see tha title again; this iz DEFINITELY tha same beat! Tha 1st verse iz soundin’ good. You’re FINALLY mentionin’ some drug shit afta 13 songs, so this iz FINALLY anotha plus! Your voice iz catchy this time, so this iz lookin’ positive! LOL, this CD iz like tha temperatures outside, lol; fluctuatin’! Real long 1st verse here, and tha rhymes are just GOIN’ & GOIN’ & GOIN’, lol!! NOBODY’s stoppin’ you from rappin’!! REALLY feelin’ this shit here!! Might have ta tie it wit “A Milli”’s song and make it win tha tiebreaker so it’s my #1 song on here! I could just imagine what you would’ve made a hook outta this song ‘cause it’s REAL GOOD wit tha rhymes!! Good thing fa tha lucky 4:16 length!! My Rating: 4.7

15. “Jus Wanna Taste Ya”
I don’t know about this title… I know we’re on a roller coaster, so I don’t think it gon stop anytime soon! >>> Goin’ further back wit tha “I Need Love” beat, although it sounds updated… A lil’ long on tha intro, but tha hook sounds good, so at least this iz a plus. Tha title iz real catchy, especially how it’s said in tha hook many times! Soundin’ REAL sexual here on tha 1st verse, so that’s DEFINITELY a plus! I have a feelin’ this only gon be 1 verse ‘cause tha length iz only 2:49, and tha intro was long as hell. Nice “a lot like buku” part; that was cool ta hear. Oh, tha 1st verse was short, so now, we got room fa a 2nd verse! Tha 2nd verse sounded aight/good; I liked tha 1st veerse betta. My Rating: 4.2

16. “So Fly” Feat. Lady Kym
I think I only heard one song from him (“Show Me My Opponent” from earlier this year). I heard this one crossed over in some way? I wonder what it exactly was about? It’s 30 seconds less than tha last song, so let’s see how “fly” this one gon be… >>> Dat beat intro sounds like it’s DEFINITELY on a Louisiana level, but I wonder how it got ta be popular a lil’ bit? I hear Auto-Tune on tha verse? I’m tryna give inta this, so I’m gonna keep tryin’… Nice check-in from DJ Chill, bringin’ it back. I guess we’re not gonna hear tha featured artist ‘cause tha length iz hella short? Yea, this iz on a mainstream level wit tha 1st verse, although it sounds like a good chunk of mainstream! I just wish tha Auto-Tune would go away! It would be betta! Tha hook iz somewhat cool, but lol, this song iz DEFINITELY for tha mainstream! Nice duet here, lol! *Goes and rewinds ta hear tha featured artist since she was on tha hook…* My Rating: 4.1

17. “Broke Hoes” (Vicious Feat. Wochee)
Since it’s Vicious, I’m sure this iz a much BETTA song featurin’ you!! >>> Oh God, here we go wit tha beat choices again! It’s “Independent” this time, so I’m surprised ta hear him feature you on a jacked beat song. Soundin’ good, as I enjoy people bein’ on this beat, although I find it funny ta hear so many versions, lol! Vicious IZ vicious on tha 1st verse here; REALLY feelin’ how he comin’ through here!! Nice job on tha 1st verse, as well as tha hook! Tha 2nd verse from you here iz soundin’ almost like an OJ Da Juiceman voice here… I just feel like you’re rappin’ fast/randomly here, lol. I like how there’s an “A-S-S” hidden within tha spellin’ of tha title/hook, lol! My Rating: 4.0

18. “Eat By Any Means” (Vicious Feat. Wochee & Gabe G)
Anotha Vicious song featurin’ you AND a new featured artist! Lookin’ forward ta this one!! >>> Sounds like a good, original beat here for a start! Startin’ off wit Vicious on tha 1st verse, and I’m against his line, “I ratha die than be broke…;” I’m broke, but you KNOW your life can easily revive your brokeness! More spellin’ in tha hook wit tha “G-A-N-S-T-E-R;” nice job on tha hook! Tha 2nd verse sounds good; what was up wit tha beat stop, lol? This iz DEFINITELY a good song here; easily pleased by this! It’s for those that are in tha hood; NICE 2nd verse here also once again from you!! I’m hearin’ tha hook again, and it’s MUCH, MUCH betta!! REAL GR8 drug lyrics!! And speakin’ of tha GREATNESS, tha 3rd verse from dat newbie (Gabe G) soundin’ REAL GOOD wit tha voice, rappin’, rhymes, and tha flow!! REAL GLAD we got people in tha street doin’ it BIG!! My Rating: 4.6

19. “Do Yo Dance”
I can’t believe there were 5 songs in a row that sounded REAL good!! What’s up wit this gay-ass title?? If it’s a jacked beat, then that’s EVEN worse… or should I say, “equivalent,” to an original beat! >>> Even havin’ a jacked Bounce beat here? How can you mix Bounce wit a gay-ass title like this? I thought tha hook would be terrible, but it’s still bad for me… Very kiddish wit tha beat sound effects, and some of tha lyrics were too young for me. Tha 1st verse iz ehh… If it wasn’t for this Bounce beat, it would’ve been down in tha sewer, lol! I actually feel like 3.0ish wit tha rating ‘cause of tha hook now catchin’ on fa me; I like how you sound on it. BOO @ tha “Shawty Is A 10” quote on tha 2nd verse; 2nd verse iz pretty random. My Rating: 3.0

20. “Fly Str8 Mob” (Bigg D Feat. Gangsta, Raskal & D Fall)
D Fall iz in my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon; how did he get in here? This last song doesn’t have you in it? I see tha Raskal dude’s in it, so I have a low anticipation level… >>> Tha beginning sounds good; sounds like it gon be a street anthem? I HOPE without any gay shit! Tha Bigg D dude on tha 1st verse sounds like my boy Sims rappin’! Tha 2nd part soundin’ pretty good… Pretty good job, Gangsta. Likin’ tha hood shit here. Tha verse iz just continunin’, and I’m feelin’ this Gangsta’s verse. Iz dat tha Raskal dude on tha 3rd part? He’s ACTUALLY rappin’?!? If so, it’s soundin’ pretty good. I won’t go further, so I’ll just say it’s good. Here’s tha D Fall dude on tha 4th verse… Yea, he sounds perfect for tha old Louisiana CDs wit my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon; nice “New Edition” part! My Rating: 4.3

21. “On Dem Hoes” Feat. J Flow
Tha last song… I thought it was gonna be an outro, but you made it a song… I don’t know what ta say, so let’s see how it gon play out… >>> Oh no, gay beat endin’… What was this gay beat again? Okay job on tha 1st verse, and tha hook iz at least catchy. Barely any lyrics in tha hook, but it pays. I hear J Flow on tha 2nd verse, and he’s soundin’ cool. I thought his name would’ve been familiar when I saw it, but I don’t think I know him. Nice job on tha 2nd verse, and tha 3rd verse was aight. I don’t think this beat iz I.G. & Lil’ DP Feat. J-Money “Go Hard”. If it iz, then it ain’t gay, but I think it’s somethin’ else… My Rating: 3.6

Overall: Well, what can I say? I’ll continue checkin’ out future mixtapes from you, but as far as this one, it hits tha decent mark fa me. There were a good chunk of songs that were REAL GOOD, but a few were not too good, and some were decent. It was a mixed review here, but keep up tha good work! Keep bringin’ tha new featured people ta play too!

Review #330: Ronny My "Head In The Clouds"

Reviewed on 10.25.2009 (Review #330)

Watz goin’ on? It’s ya boy FrankieThaLuckyDog here, and I ‘bout ta do a review for Ronny My outta Baton Rouge. He added me on Facebook months ago, and outta nowhere, on his status, I saw this mixtape. I thought it was tha new Max Minelli/Kevin Gates song “Above The Clouds,” but it wasn’t, lol. Not sure what gon happen, but all I know iz it’s anotha review, so here it goes! Here goes my review fa Ronny My Head In The Clouds! Start Time: 1:53 PM | End Time: 3:44 PM

Disclaimer:
I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion!

© 2009 CD Review (Review #330) reviewed on 10.25.2009 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “What Am I Gonna Do”
Tha title gives me an unknown/unsure start… >>> This DEFINITELY iz NOT a Baton Rouge sound, so it’s gonna be real hard ta get used to… However, I like your voice. This beat iz a lil’ weird except for its uptemponess. I don’t know how this iz a starting song… I guess tha hook iz pretty good for a vocal sample; I’ll take it. Lemme just pretend I’m not in a Baton Rouge state of mind right now. Pretty good job on tha 1st verse, by tha way. I like how you said, “neitin’,” like my boy Blu Black on tha 2nd verse. Nice job on tha 2nd verse. I should offer lyrical ratings for these kinda songs on this CD so you can see that I can show luv 2 different ways. Interestin’ lyrics on tha 3rd verse, includin’ all tha shit about you and different thingz in tha news. Good start to this CD, although real different for a starting song. Lyrical Rating: 4.6 | My Rating: 3.8

02. “I Don’t Need You”
Looks like you’re very anti to typicalness… Let’s see how you apply dat inta this song. >>> Still different on tha beat; kinda on a mainstream level. It sounds like you’re spittin’ real daily shit here in tha 1st verse. Nice job on tha 1st verse, fa real. Tha hook iz more anti-havin’ a female type. You’re betta off by yourself; look @ me! It sounds like tha verses breeze by, but at least it makes a 3rd verse come along; nice job on tha 2nd verse too. Matta fact, you substituted a 3rd verse for a bridge; it sounded good for a bridge. Lyrical Rating: 4.4 | My Rating: 3.7

03. “I’m Good”
Tha title here looks like tha answer from tha last song. Let’s see you tell it like it iz! >>> A lil’ on tha uptempo tip, but tha way tha beat sounds iz just a lil’ below decent fa me. Hook iz aight, but I would’ve rather’ve heard tha 1st verse 1st. An okay 1st verse from you; I need ta hear more. Interestin’ lyrics goin’ on in tha 2nd verse. Nice job deliverin’ dat 2nd verse. I’m assumin’ you’re sober/don’t smoke based off these songs? Now, we got a 3rd verse, and it sounds like it on a mainstream level again. Lyrical Rating: 4.2 | My Rating: 3.4

04. “Just Do You”
That’s what I “do” when it comes ta this shit, whether it’s supportin’, bein’ myself, etc.; it’s ALL me! >>> Tha intro sounds like there’ll finally be some tightness in this CD? A betta beat start here, so I feel a lil’ anticipated. I hear tha hook, and I like when people say, “I see ya lookin’, wit ya lookin’-ass.” Nice job on tha hook, as it works wit this beat. I REALLY like tha start to tha 1st verse wit “I’m Mario, and you just a Toadstool,” as referrin’ ta Super Mario Bros.! This iz a lil’ betta fa me, includin’ everything in this song itself. I still think it was weird that it took 4 songs ta get to a song that’s tight. Nice job on tha 1st verse, and you KNOW tha hook iz official! Nice job on tha 2nd verse too, deliverin’ sum good shit! LMAO @ tha start to tha 3rd verse wit “…come up like an erection.” I like tha “like Floetry, she’ll say ‘yes.’” part. Thanx for this song, as it worked out gr8! Lyrical Rating: 4.4 | My Rating: 4.3

05. “Lil’ Boy Lost” Feat. Megean Whiten
I wonder what this song gon be about… >>> Sounds like a slow intro; looks like it gon be a sad theme? That voice on tha hook (female singer) sounds REAL familiar…; can’t figure out who she exactly iz. Tha 1st verse iz you, and it’s DEFINITELY on an interestin’ level ‘cause you’re rappin’ exactly about tha title, a “lil’ boy” that must’ve “lost.” DEFINITELY feelin’ all tha interestin’ lyrics goin’ on here, and speakin’ of “4.4 GPA,” who knows, this song’ll prolly get ova a “4.4” lyrical rating! Nice job on tha 1st verse, my boy. Still keepin’ it interestin’ on tha 2nd verse. Nice job wit tha 2nd verse, although I thought tha 1st verse was much betta. Soundin’ like some good, lyrical hood lyrics for tha 3rd verse; nice shit goin’ on here. Lyrical Rating: 4.8 | My Rating: 4.2

06. “Runnin’”
Only 1:48 on tha length, so I have a feelin’ you’ll be fast and “runnin’” wit your lyrics, lol. >>> Spittin’ on a 90’s beat from (I think) The Pharcyde (which Mya sampled for “Fallen” in 2003). It sounds like you’re gonna be good on this! Yea, you’re DEFINITELY fast on tha verse here, as well as deliverin’ sum good-ass shit! Catchy rhymes here, includin’ tha “lunch line” part. Good job wit dat verse. Lyrical Rating: 4.5 | My Rating: 4.1

07. “What A Bum (Free Kevin Gates)”
LOL @ this title! Regardless of soundin’ like ANYTHING, this song should be interestin’!! >>> Ooh, Reggae in tha beginning from a female! Oh, it’s tha typical “bum, bum, a what a bum bum…” sample; DEFINITELY good right here! I’m DEFINITELY inta this, so this should be a GR8 tribute ta gettin’ Gates outta jail! You’re soundin’ pretty good on tha 1st verse; interestin’/nice beat here. Nice job on tha 1st verse, and other than tha Reggae sample in tha hook, you’re chantin’ (in a Jamaican voice), “free Kevin Gates now! Free Kevin Gates now!;” good shit! It makes me look forward to tha 2nd verse, and I’m right about lookin’ forward ta it! Thanx for tha hood lyrics wit tha “thief in tha night” shit; good job! Even givin’ my hometown a shout out wit tha “Long Island iced tea” part at tha end; thumbs up! Oh wait, there’s a 3rd verse! Glad you “fuck wit Deadgame;” it must be good ta have dat connection! Good shit right here! Lyrical Rating: 4.3 | My Rating: 4.4

08. “Don’t Walk Away”
Lemme see how you gon follow up tha past few songs… >>> I had this beat as a guess for this song, but I didn’t think you was gon rap on it. Actually, it’s just a lil’ twist of tha song (“Don’t Walk Away” from Jade from tha 90’s). Soundin’ pretty good wit tha rappin’ in tha 1st verse; NICE and fast! Good job deliverin’ dat, and whoeva tha singer iz happens ta sing tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse on tha original version, as well as tha hook. I rather’ve heard tha old song’s vocals, but I guess this iz acceptable. Tha 2nd verse sounded short, but it fit for what it was. I guess decent ending… Lyrical Rating: 4.0 | My Rating: 3.9

09. “Can We Talk”
Now, it looks like you’re inta gettin’ tha females back? Lemme see what you’re all about on here… >>> Again, it sounds 90’s ish on tha beat. It sounds pretty good wit tha beat as well. You almost sound like A.R. from BR wit tha way you sound, only your songs are better. Soundin’ very attractive for tha ladies on tha 1st verse; nice job deliverin’ dat. Tha 2nd verse was equal to tha 1st verse. Now, I’m assumin’ tha 3rd verse gon do tha same… Goin’ sexual here wit all tha “lickin’,” lol. LOL @ tha “screamin’ ‘OMG!’” part too! Catchy 3rd verse fa me, which made me like it tha most. Lyrical Rating: 4.1 | My Rating: 4.0

½time: Well, tha beginning was different fa me, and it looked like tha 2nd ¼ of this CD got betta fa me. Nice job mixin’ all kinds of shit here. Now, you need some party songs! Average CD rating turned out tha be 4.0 on tha ½time!

10. “I’m Down”
How we gon start tha 2nd ½ of this CD off? >>> Sounds like it has more R&B vibes in tha samples and shit. I like tha uptemponess in tha beginning; let’s see what happens overall. Tha hook iz pretty good, and tha 1st verse iz soundin’ pretty good also. You’re now on a sexual tip here on tha 2nd verse; nice job here. I wonder what it’s like ta be “bitin’” and shit on females… Sounds like you want a female ta control your life on tha 3rd verse…; that’ll neva be me. When I get ta have a girlfriend, I wanna still be able ta have all my talents and shit, and NOT lose any of them! Lyrical Rating: 4.2 | My Rating: 3.8

11. “Goin’ 2 Party”
FINALLY? After 10 songs? Why it only 1:46? >>> Oh, it must be on some ol’ skool type of shit. I see that’s why your lengths are kinda short… I hear a phone call in tha beginning; I thought she was speakin’ anotha language at first, lol. LOL, it took 42 seconds fa tha verse ta start… Sounded pretty good for your verse, and I like how you say your name at tha end. Lyrical Rating: 3.9 | My Rating: 3.9

12. “I’mma Do Me”
LOL, ewe, oh… It gon be what I think it iz on tha beat? >>> Oh, it’s originally, but a lil’ weird on tha beat intro wit all dat snappin’ for this title. Sounds like you’re deliverin’ good lyrics on tha 1st verse. I like how there’s different sounds goin’ on in tha beat. Tha hook iz pretty catchy, especially endin’ each line on tha hook wit “watch me like tha movie.” On tha 2nd verse, why would you “do a song wit Auto-Tune?” Just hearin’ that word iz like watchin’ gay community people; yuck! Also, hearin’ people on Auto-Tune iz like hearin’ gay people fuck; that’s how DISGUSTIN’ it iz!! I guess pretty good 2nd verse, and it sounds like you’re deliverin’ decent shit on tha 3rd verse. Lyrical Rating: 4.3 | My Rating: 3.5

13. “Smooth Shit”
Wasn’t tha last song “smooth” enough for its title? >>> This iz even smoother… A pretty nice intro, but I don’t know about takin’ it serious… Did you just say, “dat smooth shit right here, Guss?” He didn’t produce this, did he? If so, why do people gotta sound all weird wit their beats at times? What’s up wit tha “I wish he was gay” part in tha 1st verse? Tha hook iz just ehh… I guess only for you as you say, “you can’t do dis.” I guess good job on tha 2nd verse, and LOL @ tha start to tha 3rd verse wit “call me butta ‘cause I’m on a roll;” I like it, lol. Tha 3rd verse sounded like it flowed pretty good. You kept this song consistent AND original, so that’s a plus! It’s just a decent song fa me though. LOL @ tha cold ending fa this one. Lyrical Rating: 4.5 | My Rating: 3.3

14. “Her Song”
I thought you were done wit tha females? >>> I like how you used tha Sade “Cherish The Day” sample in tha beginning. This sounds betta for a “smooth” song than tha last song for a start! LOL @ tha “can we grow together like mildew” part; smelly!! Nice job on tha 1st verse though, ya dig! Sounds like you’re SO appreciated now for tha females, so you get a plus for your self-esteem! Nice job on tha 2nd verse, and I wanna see what you got fa tha 3rd verse. LMAO @ tha cut off of tha “cherish tha day” part where it was like, “cherish tha—.”Still soundin’ positive on tha 3rd verse, as you don’t wanna cause any drama; I feel dat. Now, tha last hook had tha full sample title, includin’ its hook, lol. I like this one, so this iz a plus fa me. Lyrical Rating: 4.4 | My Rating: 4.3

15. “Diary Of Me”
I heard 14 songs already. Now, it’s time for tha 15th one, I guess describin’ a whole “diary of you.” >>> Anotha slow song? I hope you come through nice on it. Very Millionaireish in tha beginning wit resistin’ tha “lifeline” and tha “phone a friend.” It sounds like you’re tryna stay up here on tha 1st verse. Yea, what’s up wit all those “hoes” wit “spendin’ money?” Who would even “make it rain” on them, but not do business wit me instead? Those are tha people I like ta keep an eye on ta see how NON-serious they really are, thinkin’ they got all money and shit, smh. I guess pretty good 1st verse. Tha hook was aight, although I almost didn’t think this song had ta do wit tha title ‘til I heard you say tha title. Tha 2nd verse sounds pretty good. I can neva picture “fuckin’ gurlz and not knowin’ their names;” how iz that possible? Only 2 verses? Felt like this song breezed by. Lyrical Rating: 4.3 | My Rating: 3.4

16. “When I’m Gone”
I don’t really need a preview… >>> This iz a female type of vocal sample I don’t like… I hate when songs have ta have it in tha background; there’s NO catchiness when people do dat, and it’s a waste of money too ta get tha approval!! Tha beat iz not even me, but it sounds like you’re keepin’ tha rhymes alive on tha 1st verse. I see you said, “Special Ed. flow like a retard.” Although not exactly retards, lemme ask you: What do you think of people that have Autism or Aspergers? Answer tha question 1st, then read this: Do you realize an Autism/Aspergers person iz doin’ this review for you right now? Tha 2nd verse was still pretty good, but this song barely has any interest for me. Lyrical Rating: 4.4 | My Rating: 2.8

17. “My Way”
It could be tha Usher beat, but what I was about ta say was that you got anotha song about YOU on here, lol! >>> Too slow for Usher’s song, but I think it’s an even older song remade. It iz, Frank Sinatra. Not really for me once again; why are these songs gettin’ worse all of a sudden? Kinda long for a hook/intro, as it’s almost a minute long. LOL @ tha cut off at :57 when he was ‘pose ta say, “regrets;” he said, “re—.”I hear you on tha 1st verse, and it sounds like you’re DEFINITELY “doin’ it your way;” that’s a plus on any level! No wonder why tha song iz long… Tha hook iz 57 seconds long. LMAO @ tha “re—” cut off again! Your 2nd verse iz soundin’ betta here; betta lyrics, so that’s a plus. No cut off before tha 4:00 mark as tha sample continues… Long fade-out, as it’s 20 seconds long. Lyrical Rating: 4.4 | My Rating: 2.5

18. “My Thoughts”
“My, my, my, my, my!” It all good though! >>> I hear a lil’ bit of 90’s in tha beat, but then again, it’s more on tha Hip-Hop side here. At least there’s more rappin’ for a song a lil’ ova 2x less on tha length (2:20) than tha last song. Thanx for these “thoughts,” lol. Huh? “Guss be on dat shit too?” Neva mind, I thought you meant this beat (which he prolly iz), but I think you talkin’ about bein’ on your “thoughts.” I do think this beat iz interestin’, and tha lyrics are real catchy/interestin’ in tha 2nd verse! You talkin’ ‘bout your “father;” what about your mother? Lyrical Rating: 4.7 | My Rating: 3.8

19. “Thank You”
“Thanks” for makin’ me take almost 2 hours out of my time ta review this, lol. >>> Speakin’ of tha oldies, it sounds like some old vocalizin’ in tha beginning. Pretty good uptempo beat here, and tha vocalizin’ from tha R&B dudes make it sound pretty catchy too. You be “gettin’ all tha gurlz naked;” how you do that? Tha hook iz on an R&B tip, and it sounds pretty catchy wit this beat. Tha 2nd verse sounded good, and tha 3rd verse iz soundin’ good too; gotta like when you rap ‘cause it’s interestin’ at times! Lyrical Rating: 4.3 | My Rating: 3.7

Overall: Well, tha review iz ova. Although there was 0% of a Baton Rouge feel to it, I still thought you came through REAL nice wit your lyrics, your content, and everything YOU did ‘cause it was YOUR “way” throughout tha whole entire CD! Keep ya head up, and keepin’ bein’ YOU!

Review #329: Max Minelli "Pre-Med"

Reviewed on 10.23.2009 (Review #329)

FrankieThaLuckyDog here, ‘bout ta do my last review for a while (I’m assumin’). I don’t have any CDs ta review afta this, so I may go back inta my marathon. I got a lotta commercials ta make, so who knows. Anyway, got a new Max Minelli CD ta review, and it looks like it gon be pretty good! He ain’t stoppin’, as he’s got more comin’ afta this; this iz just an 11 track taste!! Here goes my review fa Max Minelli Pre-Med! Start Time: 2:23 PM | End Time: 3:36 PM

© 2009 CD Review (Review #329) reviewed on 10.23.2009 by FrankieThaLuckyDog.

01. “The Autobiography Of Max Pain”
It looks like a REAL interestin’ title, ESPECIALLY wit it bein’ 6:03 on tha length! REALLY lookin’ forward ta seein’ what he got right now!! >>> Sounds pretty anticipatin’ fa tha beginning; looks like you STILL patiently waitin’ ta blow-up! Wish you could get dat respect you deserve, but don’t worry! You KNOW I’m holdin’ you down, ya dig! Glad you “rewrite English” wit tha “perfectest,” ya dig! Tha rhymes are DEFINITELY good here, even flowin’ GR8 wit dat beat! This iz DEFINITELY a nice “autobiography” here wit all tha shit dat happened back in tha day wit Lay-Lo ta Camp Life and all da good times! I’m DEFINITELY lookin’ forward ta hearin’ all tha old music in my Louisiana Reviewz Marathon in tha future, when I get ta those CDs! I’m almost up ta C-Loc’s 1st CDs in my marathon currently; tha year of ’95! Your I’m All I Got CD iz my boy Jimmy The DJ’s favorite CD, ya dig. You KNOW that’s prolly one of my ANTICIPATIN’ CDs ta review, ya dig! You “got ta tha point where you hated Rap?” I know it happens at times, but you’re still here, doin’ tha damn thang, so that’s all that matters! Damn! Nearly 5 minutes went by on this track already! Your rhymes are just TOO focusable (lol @ my “rewrote English”) that time went by like it was NOTHIN’! Glad you told it how it was about “Koch” durin’ tha 5:00 – 5:15 mark! My Rating: 4.4

02. “Whateva-eva”
LOL @ tha 2 “eva”s bein’ back 2 back! This should be TIGHT, ya dig! >>> Tha beat iz DEFINITELY doin’ its thang here!! Must be a DJ B-Real beat or somethin’? Then again, I think Happy Perez does most of these beats, so it’s STILL DEFINITELY a plus!! REAL NICE hook here; where’s tha extra “eva?” I’m a lil’ confused ‘cause this song iz in a format where every line in tha song has tha title, lol. I guess tha hook was 1st… Nope, tha 1st verse was 1st, and it sounded GR8 wit all tha different topics (from “goin’ duffy” ta all tha street shit and every otha 14 lines, lol). Tha hook was tha typical “eva, eva, eva, eva” type of shit, which sounded good, so you KNOW this shit iz jammin’! Tha 2nd verse soundin’ good here, doin’ a GR8 job here! Glad you used ta do good “on yo report card;” you fulla dat A+ shit, ya dig! I like how tha beat took tha bass out in tha beginning of tha 3rd verse; gr8 shit!! DEFINITELY nice rhymes in tha 3rd verse, endin’ it wit “insanity!” My Rating: 4.5

03. “Amped Up”
Anotha 3:55 length song, lol! Looks like an “Ape Shit” type of title, so I’m DEFINITELY lookin’ forward ta hearin’ you “amped up” on this shit right chea!! >>> Tha piano type of beat intro reminds me of nearly somethin’ I would make… Tha hook sounds cool; almost reminded me of C-Loc how you sounded. Now, it sounds like a cell-phone goin’ off in tha 2nd ½ of tha hook instead of tha piano, lol. Tha production iz DEFINITELY on its shit here, as you’re doin’ tha damn thang on tha 1st verse! You’re “tryna sell records like Mike did Thriller;” I feel you on dat! At least your street cred iz ALWAYS at a NICE peak!! Gr8 job on tha 1st verse, as you just equal tha production wit your rhymes, lyrics, flow, ERR-THANG!! You gon sound GR8 on my radio shift! I played your feature on A-Mar & Dyl’s “To The Max” wit you & VL Mike, as well as your collab wit Savage & Big Scoob “Get Loose Wit It.” I prolly played more (‘cause you KNOW you everywhere in BR)! Tha 2nd verse sounded good; still spittin’ dat FIYA!! REALLY feelin’ how tha beat sounded in tha beginning of tha 3rd verse!! You’re “doin’ this for” err-body right here, my boy!! My Rating: 4.5

04. “Aim 4 Success”
Your path ain’t NEVA endin’; you gon keep walkin’ tha yellow brick road ‘til you get your DESERVED “success,” ya dig! >>> Tha beats sounded betta on tha last 3 songs, but this iz acceptable. It got betta at :27 a lot wit tha sounds added! I’m hearin’ tha 1st verse, and it sounds like you’re “capturin’” lots of “emotions,” as well as it bein’ a “gamble like a dice game;” feelin’ tha rhymes at ALL times! Tha hook iz pretty catchy; it’s all about motivation! Nice job on tha 2nd verse here, steady grindin’! “When you’re unda pressure, you’re at your FUCKIN’ best;” that’s RIGHT! Nice job on tha 3rd verse; only a PROGRESSED rapper like you would spit all types of smart-ass shit, ya dig! My Rating: 4.1

05. “Above The Clouds” Feat. Kevin Gates
I’m not really crazy about tha title, but I hope tha rhymes/collaboration/beat will be GR8!! >>> Okay, tha beat iz acceptable; I like those claps! Sounds like it’s DEFINITELY gonna be good; nice start to tha 1st verse wit you, Max!! Doin’ ya thang on this verse wit them above-typical-average raps!! I KNEW Gates was gonna be on tha hook! He’s ALWAYS on a hook, and did tha damn thang! I thought he was gonna be Jamaican on it, but lol @ tha “Guss make my beats. I’m straight wit tracks, cousin” part bein’ in tha hook; gotta LUV it!! And here’s Gates also on tha 2nd verse! Spittin’ just like you, Max; str8 GREATNESS on tha mic!! Every week, there’s somethin’ Gates that play on my radio shift; he’s SOMEWHERE on SOMEBODY’s songs, CDs, etc.! Nice job on tha 2nd verse, and you KNOW we needed more Gates ‘cause he’s on tha 3rd verse! Addin’ emotion into them vocals, as well as BETTA rhymes!! DEFINITELY feelin’ everything that’s goin’ on in this verse, includin’ tha gangsta atttributes! Nice unknown beat transition to tha last hook, lol! Even tha fade-out to tha song sounded REAL GOOD on tha ending!! My Rating: 4.6

½time: Lookin’ REAL GOOD, Max!! Gates took your shine on that last song, lol! It was 75% Gates, 25% you, as he just WANTED that song, lol! Anyway, you’re lookin’ REAL GOOD wit all these songs!! Keep it up wit tha rhymes and tha production; you’ll have a REAL NICE commercial from me!! Doin’ tha damn thang wit an average CD rating of currently 4.4!!

06. “Look At My”
I like how there’s a ? for tha followin’ word in tha title; that’s a plus! I wonder what we’re “lookin’ at,” lol? >>> LOL @ tha Rock type of start; looks like this gon be REAL interestin’!! Nice mix wit tha Hip-Hop!! Tha 1st verse iz soundin’ good; you KNOW you gotta “pop a Max Pain pill!” Nice job on tha 1st verse, and it sounds like tha hook iz headin’ towards tha swag subject wit all tha nouns/objects (“whip,” “bitch,” “clothes,” etc.)! I’m definitely likin’ tha flow on this too; DOIN’ IT BIG!! Nice job on tha 2nd verse too, as you’re just unstoppable wit what you do!! Tha 3rd verse was just you wit a NICE self-esteem; there’s NOTHIN’ negative goin’ wrong wit you, ya dig! My Rating: 4.5

07. “Big Booty Judy”
LOL @ tha title!! I rememba seein’ this on Word Of South a while ago! I don’t know why I didn’t pay attention… I guess I just wanted ta wait ‘til a review came! Let’s see how much this gon make me happy!! >>> Already, LMAO @ tha beat start! I can tell this gon be tha shit!! I thought tha hook was gonna be funnier, but it ain’t dat bad; good shit though. Nice “stretch marks on dat ass lookin’ like a tiga” part, as well as all tha words pretty much rhymin’ wit “a” (replace of “er”) words! Not bad on tha 1st verse; you IN LUV! Tha 2nd verse was just okay also. Let’s see what’s goin’ on wit tha 3rd verse… Okay, it’s betta than tha 2nd verse, more on a gymnastics style, lol! Catchy song right here; it’ll prolly attract a lotta people, lol! My Rating: 4.2

08. “Can We Get Down”
Looks like a sequel ta Ms. “Judy,” ROFL!! >>> It must be a sequel; I hear a female in tha beginning. This iz slower than tha “Judy” song, but a lil’ too slow here… It still a good hook though. Sounds like you STILL in luv on tha 1st verse! Pretty good 1st verse; you REALLY have a heart when it comes ta gettin’ someone else’s heart, ya dig! Tha 2nd verse sounded like you still keepin’ yourself motivated fa luv; + ta dat! Pretty good song here; kinda like an R&B song for tha Pop charts. My Rating: 3.8

09. “Worry Don’t Pay No Bills” Feat. Keith Jacobs
I hope this featured artist iz interestin’; lookin’ forward ta this one! >>> A darker beat intro here. I guess tha featured artist iz anotha singer; hope he sounds good on tha hook or whateva he’s on. Tha talkin’ in tha beginning sounds like it gon make tha song sound good! I’m hearin’ tha 1st verse, and it’s soundin’ interestin’; gotta feel tha beat throughout tha verse! Nice job wit tha shit you spit in tha 1st verse! Tha hook iz catchy wit a combination between tha Keith Jacobs dude! I thought fa a second that there was a comma after “worry” in tha title as somethin’ like “don’t worry, don’t pay no bills.” But, “worry” iz used as an adjective in tha title; catchy! You’re doin’ a NICE job on tha 2nd verse, as you got tha strength ta handle ANY verse, ya dig!! Nice beat ending, includin’ a cold ending too! My Rating: 4.3

10. “When It Reigns”
Not sure if I’ll be crazy about this song. When I usually see “reign” in a title, it brings some fear in me. Let’s see anyway… >>> And, it’s “rainin’” in tha beginning. Okay, tha beat izn’t that bad for a start; sounds pretty good fa what it iz, includin’ tha “rainin’.” No! Not a sample in tha hook! I think havin’ samples in hooks are played out… I can somewhat deal wit it though, so it ain’t that bad. It sounds like though, on tha 1st verse, you’re DEFINITELY defeatin’ tha purpose of havin’ stress! I like your “blessed, but I ain’t even sneeze” part! Tha hook iz pretty good, and it makes me forget about tha vocal sample; I like how you spell “R-E-I-G-N.” Tha lyrics in tha 2nd verse are soundin’ STRONG too fa what they are! My Rating: 4.0

11. “Don’t Worry ‘Bout Me”
Anotha “worry” song, and this iz tha ending… I hope this one iz TIGHT like tha last “worry” song!! >>> Ooh, interestin’ beat start here; it’s different! Glad tha ending ain’t boring! Oh, what’s those kids or choir in tha hook? Not too crazy about tha hook… Soundin’ good on tha 1st verse though, Max, so I’ll give you props on dat! I like your “deep breath *gasps*” part! Pretty good rhymes, and although this may not be an iPod song fa me, this’ll at least do pretty good on this review. I like all your “dawg” parts in tha 2nd verse. Tha lyrics still sound pretty good on tha 2nd verse too; lol @ tha random “my baby mama shake her ass” fa this song! Even a “hot dog,” lol, was added ta this song! Tha 3rd verse had a nice start ta it; you KNOW I like my “play my hand” type of parts when it comes ta card games! A shorter 3rd verse, but it did what it did… I don’t know what ta rate this… Not my kinda song, but it sounded good overall (minus parts of tha hook). My Rating: 3.9

Overall: NICE job right here, Max Minelli!! You did tha damn thang, spit a WHOLE LOT fa only 11 songs!! You STILL doin’ it BIG, and I HOPE you continue ta do so!! It prolly won’t be long ‘til we see anotha CD from you too, so I BETTA get workin’ on tha commercial within tha next few weeks!

Review #328: Lil' Smoov "Swagged Out: Reloaded"

Reviewed on 10.23.2009 (Review #328)

Watz good witcha? Ya boy FrankieThaLuckyDog ‘bout ta do an anticipatin’, follow-up review right nah, ya dig! About a lil’ ova 2 months ago, I reviewed Lil’ Smoov Swagged Out. Afta tha review, I had a dream that I had ta REALLY hit up Uncle T (Tha Connect) on tha phone for tha 1st time, and good thing my dream told me to ‘cause he’s DEFINITELY one of my boyz, tha king of Crowley, LA I should say! Now, tha CD has been “reloaded” inta Swagged Out: Reloaded! I only know about tha “In Da Matrix (Remix)” (‘bout ta hear tha remix for tha 1st time), so let’s see what else iz on here (and I want a hard copy too)! Here goes my review fa Lil’ Smoov Swagged Out: Reloaded! Start Time: 12:01 PM | End Time: 1:43 PM

01. Intro (Still Swagged Out)
Tha start of it all! Let’s get a refresh on dat boy Lil’ Smoov!! >>> I almost didn’t recognize tha voice at 1st, but it’s OFFICIAL; you know!! I featured him in my radio shift commercial ‘cause I KNOW dat I have this, I’ll feature him in my radio shift! Shit yea!! There’s rappin’ in this intro (mainly just a hook)!! If it was longer, I would’ve been able ta consider it a rating, but either way, DEFINITELY a REAL TIGHT intro!!! Gotta luv tha Rock elements in tha beat, as well as how you came on it!! If tha otha tracks on here are like this, then shit, you KNOW it gon be official!! My Rating: N/A

02. “In Da Matrix (Remix)” Feat. Lil’ Russ, Down Bad & Crowley Redd
On 1st listen of tha original, I felt a **PERFECT RATING** of 5.0/5.0!!! Now, wit Down Bad on it, let’s see which Down Bad members made this one, as well as gettin’ dat REAL GR8 vibe for it!!! >>> Yea, DEFINITELY soundin’ hot here, ESPECIALLY tha hook once again!! Str8 jiggalatin’ on y’all asses!! Tha 1st verse iz JR Dot of Down Bad, REALLY doin’ it big!!! This iz like HIS time ta shine BIG right now!! REAL GR8 job, and Terror of Down Bad iz up next on tha 2nd ½ of tha 1st verse, rappin’ ‘bout tha different colors of dem jiggaz; REAL TIGHT from him too!!! Here’s tha 2nd verse from you, Smoov!! DEFINITELY crazy on tha rappin’ here, Crowley & Baton Rouge connection!! Should’ve changed tha lyrics at tha end of tha verse ‘cause you said, “wit my nigga Russ;” dat “dude” (for those that don’t know) was originally on this. Either way, it all good though ‘cause only tha people that know that part’ll know. Crowley Redd doin’ tha damn thang on tha 3rd verse!! DEFINITELY be lookin’ forward ta radio editin’ this!! I got my 6th radio shift tomorrow, so you KNOW I’ll be radio editin’ this song! As for this remix, REAL GOOD, and I’m REAL GLAD it had Down Bad on it. I did like tha original version betta, I guess ‘cause I originally luved how RAW Russ came on tha verse. It all good though ‘cause it’s a REAL GOOD rating, regardless! My Rating: 4.8

03. “All Of Dat”
Looks like a sequel to “In Da Matrix” wit its title; let’s see what’s good here!! >>> Yea, by tha beat intro, it’s DEFINITELY soundin’ GR8!! Sounds like Shonta on tha track? Yea, you’re DEFINITELY STILL “in da matrix!” Soundin’ GR8, ESPECIALLY how he addin’ “shit yea” in this song! I’m guessin’ I heard tha hook 1st? Gr8 job here, and you’re doin’ tha damn thang on tha 1st verse!! Almost remind me of Savage wit tha way you’re flowin’ here. Nice job spittin’ FLAMES on tha 1st verse, and yea, it was tha hook in tha beginning; sounds GR8!! You KNOW I luv my Louisiana Rap music!! Glad you “went platinum in tha hood” wit your last mixtape, as you’re spittin’ dat hot shit on tha 2nd verse too!! My Rating: 4.3

04. “Block My Shine”
NOBODY’LL “block YOUR shine,” ya dig!! NOTHIN’ iz stoppin’ you, ESPECIALLY wit Tha Connect/TreWayz Entertainment behind yo back!! I bet this song gon prove EXACTLY what I just said! >>> This iz a repeat song from tha last mixtape. Not only that, it was my least rated… On 1st listen, I gave it 2.4, but it sounds BETTA this time! Maybe it was reworked? I liked tha talkin’ in tha beginning wit all tha “bruh”s, as well as tha 1st verse givin’ facts about you. Tha 2nd verse sounds like you got a gr8 future, and yea, just like I said in tha beginning, you mentioned TreWayz Entertainment, so that’s DEFINITELY a plus! Good hook too ta fit this, and once again, nice job fixin’ up this song ‘cause tha rating went up OVER 50%!! My Rating: 3.8

05. “My Life” Feat. Vicious
Tha ID looked familiar, as well as tha feature. First listen was 3.8, but it’s soundin’ betta again! Once again, GR8 “bruh” parts in tha beginning wit tha talkin’ ta introduce tha song, and tha beat sounds nice for a slowbie! Doin’ a nice job on tha 1st verse, as you’re just REALLY keepin’ it street! I believe tha whole song sounds tha same ‘cause I rememba tha hook… Tha hook (once again) sounds pretty good wit tha female backin’ up. And afta tha 1st hook, Vicious iz on tha 2nd verse. DEFINITELY feelin’ Vicious’s flow, rhymes, and shit here on tha 2nd verse; DEFINITELY a nice job!! You’re on tha 3rd verse, and it’s str8 up lyrics about you bein’ daddyless. It sux, but think of it this way: I have a dad, but he just DELAYS, DELAYS, DELAYS when it comes ta doin’ shit. It’s annoyin’, but whateva. My Current Rating: 3.9

06. “Stunt Hard”
Only rated this one a 3.1 on 1st listen… Just lookin’ at my previous rating alone, I can rememba this one. I rememba there bein’ a vocal sample or somethin’ throughout tha beat? Lemme get a 2nd listen… >>> It didn’t sound that bad in tha beginning. It wasn’t a vocal sample, but it was Auto-Tune in tha hook? It sounds like Drake & Lil’ Wayne or some shit… Once again, tha rhymes are DEFINITELY gr8, and I DEFINITELY feel betta than 3.1 on this right now! You’re just gutta wit it, and tha 2nd verse iz provin’ it, as you’re definin’ how you “stunt hard,” as well as them “stuntless” people that can’t touch you, ya dig! Yea, you DEFINITELY “got it poppin’ like dem fireworks on New Year’s!” My Current Rating: 3.8

07. “Swagged Out”
I KNOW this was a biggie fa me! For those that missed: Sounds like a good beat for tha intro here! Tha talkin’ in tha beginning gets me anticipated, and when you say, “you see these Coogi pants? And how I let ‘em sag,” I have a HUGE expectation of feelin’ this a WHOLE LOT, so tha hook iz DEFINITELY watz good!! “Swagged out” to tha fullest wit dat Coogi, ya dig!! Tha 1st verse here, and keepin’ it fresh ALL OVA YO BODY!! Even got sum “LRG” on these hataz, ya dig! DEFINITELY feelin’ tha 1st verse! Here comes tha 2nd verse here, and I like tha “bread longer than a phone card” and tha “pills” part; thumbs up to tha fullest!! Real nice 2nd verse too, ESPECIALLY “lettin’ ya shit sag” at tha end!! To Add: REAL GLAD this one made it onta here!! Gotta like tha “circlin’ like a 0” part (I think that’s what you said)! My Current Rating: 4.6

08. “Still Swagged Out” Feat. Ron G
How PERFECT for a sequel, back 2 back, lol! This should HOPEFULLY be just as good as tha 1st one, I’m assumin’!! >>> I was just ‘bout ta say, “Ain’t this tha intro beat?” REAL GLAD it’s a FULL SONG now!!! Still has dat GR8 Rock vibe in tha beat and err-thang; REAL GOOD/GUTTA hook!! This prolly a 1st time that it was a preview in tha intro, and on tha same mixtape, it became a FULL song!! You’re TOO GUTTA, to where you “make religious people pop a pill;” TOO FUCKIN’ CRAZY!!!!! Just str8 GUTTA, “still swagged out,” “in tha matrix,” and all those GR8 thingz ta describe you on this song!!! An unknown featured artist fa me on tha 2nd verse, but he doin’ his thang!! Gotta luv these voices on these Louisiana rappers; they’re just TOO gutta!! He stayin’ fresh and shit, doin’ tha damn thang!! Well, I figured out dat it was Ron G at tha end (‘cause he said his name), so thumbs up on tha correction! My Rating: 4.7

09. “I’m On It” Feat. Vetta
Anotha newbie for me… I hope you come through REAL GRIMY wit dat featured artist of yours!! >>> Even “STILL swagged out” in tha intro, lol. Vetta iz a female, and she sounds pretty good in tha beginning. You soundin’ good on tha 1st verse; regular paced Rap shit right here! LOL @ tha endin’ to tha 1st verse wit “asshole,” lol! Soundin’ regular on tha 2nd verse too; I enjoy your rhymes at all times, best belie’ dat! Doin’ a nice job on tha 3rd verse; much more on a street level here wit tha “poppin’ pills” and all tha shit you be spittin’ here. Definitely likin’ this verse right here, as I LUV when my rappers keep it street!! My Rating: 4.0

10. “Cruxify Shows” Feat. Ron G
This one only 2:27 long, and whateva that “C” word in tha title iz, it has me anticipated, ESPECIALLY wit Ron G on this! Let’s see how good we got it!! >>> Iz that a Lil’ Keke sample or somethin’ in tha beginning? It made me think of him ‘cause his name comes up on tha artist name wit Down Bad on all tha tracks on here (in tha info). Either way, cool hook, and tha 1st verse DEFINITELY keepin’ it gutta here!! Gotta LUV when there’s drug type of lyrics goin’ on!! Ron G doin’ a nice job startin’ off tha 2nd verse, “smokin’ $50 blunts, …and tha most expensive marijuana;” tight part right there, my boy! NICE contributing, and while I heard tha verse bein’ short, I rememba’d dat tha song was short itself…; it’s ending as I speak. My Rating: 4.4

½time: Nice shit right here!! Looks real good wit all tha songs, doin’ it B.I.G.!! You got GR8 rappers on your side when it comes ta this shit, and I’m glad you fuck wit tha 225!! Wit tha last CD, tha average CD rating was a nice 4.1! However, wit this CD, tha average CD rating for tha ½time went up! That’s right……… 4.3!!

11. “Wife Dat” Feat. Young Threatt
I KNOW I gon luv tha featured artist, I can tell already!! This looks like it’ll be a real catchy song for tha streetz, clubs, etc., so I gon be anticipated right now!! >>> Cool intro… I think I know this beat? Yea, I know what tha beat iz (it’s jacked), but I don’t rememba… I’m slowly rememberin’ though; good hook, as it’s catchy. Nice job on tha 1st verse, and tha hook iz DEFINITELY catchy wit both y’all goin’ back n’ forth on tha hook! You’re on tha 2nd verse also, keepin’ it trill. Nice job on tha 2nd verse; this was anotha short song, but good! My Rating: 4.2
EDIT: I don’t think I exactly rememba tha beat, but it sounds like “Top Back” or somethin’. I think I had reviewed someone else in tha past wit a beat like this, and I couldn’t exactly ID it; I don’t know.

12. “Shakeback” Feat. Young Threatt
A double “threatt” here, lol! Now that it’s a lil’ ova a minute longer, let’s see how betta this song; I like tha title! >>> I heard Swiss Beatz in tha beginning, but I don’t think this iz jacked or nothin’; sounds REAL GOOD in tha start!! This iz DEFINITELY Baton Rouge style at its finest here!!! Gotta feel tha whole “shakebackin’!!” Young Threatt on tha hook again wit you; DEFINITELY a nice combination formula!! You’re on tha 1st verse, and it’s DEFINITELY soundin’ REAL GOOD, fa real!!! This iz DEFINITELY a street, club, hood anthem (like I predicted wit tha last song, lol)!! Gotta luv all tha “rollin’” shit goin’ on at tha end of tha 1st verse!! Gotta luv tha “let dat alcohol,” and “let dem pillz” parts in tha hook!! I think about 200 words went by before I could say anything about tha 2nd verse, LMAO!! It’s just TOOOOOOOOOO tight ‘cause it’s VERY, VERY fast wit Young Threatt FINALLY spittin’ a verse!! REAL, REAL CRAZY!!! Wit tha like 500 words he just rapped, they were NUTS!!! Luv tha hook once again!!! Yes, 32 seconds left wit a bridge! I like tha “shit yea” shit in tha bridge too! REAL GR8 here ta where it surpassed tha “In Da Matrix (Remix)”!!! My Rating: 4.9

13. “That’s Me” Feat. Ron G & Big Bizness Snoop
Yea, keep these songs comin’!! Glad you threw this one on here too!! As I said previously, I didn’t expect a jacked beat, but unlike tha original version, this should be MUCH betta than tha Chopper City Boyz “Bubblegum” song (which iz what beat this iz)! Nice hook, since it’s you! You on tha 1st verse, referrin’ to how it was in your schools; thumbs up to you on that 1st verse! Here’s tha 2nd verse right here, keepin’ it consistent from G! I like tha “frog” part at tha end of tha verse; good shit! Mr. Snoop on tha 3rd verse here, keepin’ it “100” wit tha shit he be spittin’ here! Definitely liked his voice and style on that verse right there! My Current Rating: 4.4

14. “Bound”
Checked tha title, and tha “to get it” iz subtracted this time from tha title, lol. But yea, for those readin’, here’s tha original version of what I said: Here comes an “Ain’t I” beat; let’s see how you do… Real interestin’ rhymes here; soundin’ GR8 as a freestyle!! You’re not 21 yet (as you said “by 21, I prolly see a mill”)? You sound good fa bein’ younger than me! To Add: Tha rhymes are DEFINITELY hot here, and I’m gonna rewrite what I think of tha 2nd verse since I didn’t say much on tha 1st review. Tha rhymes in tha 2nd verse are just as good as tha 1st verse; just deliverin’ shit that doesn’t stop!! I like it betta than my 4.0 1st rating! My Current Rating: 4.2

15. “Coogi Hat”
I KNOW a “Coogi” title when I see one, ya dig! Glad it made it on here, as I was this excited when I reviewed it previously: That’s Boosie on tha sample, lol. He sounds nice and slow on this shit, lol! Yuck @ you “doin’ your dougie;” at least you jiggin’ though! Pretty good rhymes right here! I thought you was gon be 100+% about tha clothes and shit in tha verse. Here comes tha 2nd verse here, as you have “tha hit of tha moment” as I’m listenin’ ta this, ya dig; I agree. Great job on tha 2nd verse too! My Current Rating: 4.3

16. “Fuck Wit Me”
I like titles when they’re like this; you KNOW I “fuck wit” my Louisiana peeps to tha fullest!! It keeps me REAL, REAL motivated when it comes ta doin’ thingz!! >>> A lil’ different in tha beginning… I HOPE there’s no Auto-Tune!! A lil’ on tha R&B style wit tha beat. I knew it was based off a 90’s R&B song. I like tha “uh huh” shit in tha hook as it adds a lil’ bit of Crunk to it, lol. Above average so far, so it’s acceptable. It’s for tha females (I thought it would be for your boyz), and tha 1st verse lets err-body know what YOU want when it comes to a lady! Nice job on tha 1st verse, and tha 2nd verse adds dat mysterious R&B singer here and there, which sounded good. Too bad dat verse was short… Tha 3rd verse was pretty good too. I’m goin’ “lol” and feelin’ tha “uh huh” shit in tha hook still, lol!! My Rating: 4.2

17. “Guns High”
It AIN’T forgotten now! Again, it’s an okay beat you chose that was Ace Hood & R. City’s; let’s see how good you are… Of course, that 1st verse couldn’t last 5 SECONDS without you doin’ tha damn thang!!! You got a GR8 attitude wit this shit, and tha rhymes are just GR8 that you spittin’!! Nice job on tha 2nd verse wit that real street shit. To Add: I’m surprised DatPiff kept it. Usually, they delete songs wit original samples in ‘em… Tha rappin’ iz just TOO CRAZY fa just a 3.9 dat I gave originally!! My Current Rating: 4.1

18. “On Me (Instrumental)”
Now, I rememba seein’ this title… I said wit “Stunt Hard” that there was a female sample in tha background or somethin’; I think it’s this song. >>> Yup. Only problem iz… It’s just tha beat cryin’! There’s NO rappin’, talkin’, NOTHIN’, so this iz disaster to tha rating! I put “instrumental” in tha ID so it gives a warnin’ ta people! I like tha instrumental more than my rating, but my rating iz here ‘cause of how I was tricked, lol! My Rating: 1.2

19. “U Got”
Can you rap again? Maybe you had ta breathe for a second! >>> Okay, at least there’s talkin’ in tha beginning. Okay beat start, but I don’t know how much I’ll feel this song. Tha beginnin’ to tha 1st verse sounded familiar, but all my low rated songs from tha last CD already came up, so this must be new. Good job on tha 1st verse. Tha verse kinda sounds deadly on tha vocals, but it actually iz pretty good fa me, so I’ll give it a plus. Still deliverin’ what you came back from tha 1st verse, doin’ a pretty good job. I hear talkin’ towards tha last 40 seconds… I like tha “bruh” and “dawg” part, as well as you shoutin’ out “Uncle T” too! Gotta luv when you talk at times, and I’m glad you holdin’ it down! My Rating: 3.7

20. “Ya Miss Me”
I sure AM afta this song! But, I shouldn’t worry ‘cause you’ll prolly EASILY be back fa more, ya dig!! Let’s see these last 143 seconds… >>> Tha beat sounds good; nearly familiar. Pretty good beginning/hook. Tha 1st verse iz soundin’ good, rappin’ what’ll happen if buku shit happened (e.g., “when you die,” although you AIN’T dyin’!)! Nice job on tha 1st verse, and you’re doin’ tha damn thang here! Tha 2nd verse iz DEFINITELY on tha Rap tip here, as you’re just keepin’ it ALL THA WAY street!! “Stand tall and shine like tha Taco Bell sign;” gr8 shit!! My Rating: 4.0

Overall: Really, I’m so sad that it ended! But, it was DEFINITELY worth me sittin’ on tha computer fa 1 hour, 42 minutes typin’ this up AND listenin’ ta your mixtape, ya dig! I know err-body at TreWayz Entertainment gon luv dis one, so KEEP doin’ tha damn thang!! Oh, and P.S.: Tha last CD had an average CD rating of 4.0. Well, it went UP, my dawg! Find out at tha bottom how high it went up!!
