Review #1,546: Plain Reality "The Crime Won't Stop"

Reviewed on 9.26.2016 (Review #1,546)

Doin’ a 6th review today, surprisingly, despite how shot I am from yesterday… We got Plain Reality The Crime Won’t Stop, here, released in 1995 on ERC Records & was produced by Craig B! Plain Reality iz E.R.C., Rock Solid & Lil’ Fugitive, from Baton Rouge. Start Time: 7:02 PM | End Time: 7:12 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. If you sound like anything too mainstream for me, have auto-tune in your vocals, or talk about nothin’ but money and hoes (which I consider ‘typical’ topics), I’m not buyin’ it!

01. “Time To Sell Dope”
>>> Feelin’ tha beat start, here; nice production fa tha undaground! Tha 1st verse’s soundin’ nice; gangsta shit at its finest! Tha hook sounds great; it’s rough when you don’t have “a job!” I know how it was before I had mine! I tried ta make money off Louisiana rappers and shit, and failed miserably!! Anyway, hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s more shit ta feel; good job! Tha 3rd verse nice ta hear, too; feelin’ tha gutta voice! Hearin’ tha 4th verse and it sounds nice ta hear, too; consistent, gutta rhymes at its finest! My Rating: 4.3

02. Nikki Nik Report
>>> Sucks about tha “violence;” thanx for tha “report.” My Rating: N/A

03. “The Crime Won’t Stop” feat. Angela Garibaldi
I know I radio-edited this one, but I don’t think I did it while I had my radio show goin’… >>> Nice beginning from Ang and tha beat sounds nice, even tho tha quality kinda weak… Hearin’ tha 1st verse and it’s soundin’ nice; gutta shit fa tha gangstaz… Likin’ tha hook from Ang; great voice and great emotion! Definitely feelin’ tha content and it’s sad that “the crime won’t stop,” still! Hearin’ tha 2nd verse and it’s soundin’ nice, too; great story… Tha 3rd verse almost reminds me of Murdafeen with how they sound; definitely nice! Definitely some nice emotion from Ang at tha end, here! My Rating: 4.5

½time: Definitely a nice undaground release, here; dark and undaground, tha way I love it! A 4.4-rated release, so far; you know!!

04. “Time To Sell Dope (Instrumental)”
Ooh, an instrumental! See #1 fa tha review!

05. Nikki Nik Report
Anotha one? >>> Damn, anotha “violence” repo—oh, wait, it’s tha same one, lol… See #2 fa tha review!

06. “The Crime Won’t Stop (Instrumental)” feat. Angela Garibaldi
Nice! See #3 fa tha review!

Overall: Was much shorter than I expected it ta be… Nice release from y’all, tho; y’all were about quality, here! Definitely two nice lil’ tracks fa tha streetz!
